This was an homage to the great natural history dioramas... I even tried to hit the right tone in the placard:

"Deep in the unknown reaches of the tallest mountains in the world, a mysterious Himalayan Yeti wanders a wintry landscape in which few other animals could survive. The Yeti is an extremely rare and sy animal, a huge great ape believed to be a realitive of the well-known North American Sasquatch (G. canadensis), as well as the more common orangutan. The name "Abominable Snowman" is most likely a misnome, the Yeti is believed to be a gentle giant, having a primarily vegetarian diet. Few reliable sightings have been reported, and many details of this magnificent animal's way of life remain a mystery to this day".
